Soldera's Sangiovese 'Case Basse' epitomizes territorial viticulture in Montalcino, a testament to Gianfranco Soldera's commitment since the '70s. Built on two pillars – a complex ecosystem for an ideal habitat and innovation through research in tandem with tradition – Case Basse spans 23 hectares exclusively devoted to Sangiovese. Situated at an optimal altitude (320 meters above sea level), with southwest exposure and a dry climate, Case Basse embodies extraordinary pedoclimatic characteristics.
Gianfranco Soldera revitalized the area through architectural restoration, biodiversity conservation, and the creation of habitats for insects and birds. The organic vineyards, cultivated with manual labor and without herbicides, produce grapes that undergo a natural vinification process in wooden vats without temperature control or artificial yeasts.
The maturation in Slavonian oak barrels regulates the Sangiovese's evolution, released to the market at the opportune moment through selected wine shops.
The result is the Sangiovese Toscana IGT Case Basse by Soldera – a unique and exclusive product, each sip a moment of rare excellence.
